The invention relates to the production of a two-layered plastic sheathing of tendons, in which the outer, thick layer consists of a hard, impact-resistant plastic, the inner, thin layer consists of a viscous plastic which can be cured only by subsequent reaction. If, during production, the outer layer is applied in the not yet cured state directly to the viscous inner layer, an undesired mutual influencing of the two layers may occur. According to the invention, this mutual influencing is prevented by a band of tension-resistant material being wound onto the inner, viscous layer, and by the not yet cured outer layer being applied to this band.
