The hydraulic telescopic oscillation dampener has a hydraulic movement stop. It has an oil-filled working cylinder with a cover and a piston rod displaceably guided in the cover. A stop ring on the rod has an external dia. larger than that of the rod, and smaller than that of the cylinder. The ring space between rod and cylinder contains a damper ring tensioning externally in the cylinder, and displaceable in it. The internal ring dia. is larger than that of the rod and smaller than the external dia. of the stop ring. The space also contains a compressable helical spring, the end coil of which is fastened to the cover. The other end coil has a dia. larger than the internal dia. of the damper ring. When in engagement, the stop- and damper ring form a common displacement piston with throttle apertures.
