Pharmaceutical compsns. in gastro-resistant form contg. an association of an oil rich in polyunsatd. fatty acids (I) and gp. B vitamins (II) are new. (I) is pref. untreated sunflower oil, gape seed oil, corn oil, or evening rimrose oil. (II) is pref. a yeast. The compsn. may contain 5-95% (I). The unit dosage is 300mg. to 2g. The compsns. are useful in dietetics and cosmetology as well as being of particular use in the treatment of hyperlipidaemia. The use of a gastro-resistant form for the admin. of (I) enables a much reduced dosage to be given. The incorporation of (II) potentialises the activity of (I).
