CARRIER SHIP WITH ROUNDHAULS NET PROVIDED WITH ICE HOLD FOR TRANSFERRING ICE FOR OFFSHORE STEVEDORING

PURPOSE:To efficiently supply crushed ice into each fish hold in a carrier ship with a roundhauls by utilizing the first fish hold as an ice storing tank and providing an ice transferring device from the bottom of the tank to each of fish holds through a screw conveyer with crushing cutters, a chutes, etc. CONSTITUTION:A first fish hold 4 in a carrier ship with a roundhauls is utilized as an ice hold for transferring ice. The upper space of this openable ice hold 4 is used as a hopper 5 for receiving ice, and a screw conveyer 7 with cutting parts for crushing ice is provided below said hopper 5. Another screw conveyer 10, a chute 14, etc. are arranged, under connection with the screw conveyer 7, to the upper side of a deck. An expandable and bendable chute 14 is provided in each of the fish holds 3 so as to supply crushed ice into each fish hold 3. In such a manner, the operation of carrying ice, which has been done by manpower with the use of ice baskets, can be now performed more efficiently with the conveyer device.
