PURPOSE:To analyze lactate dehydrogenase isozyme by conjugating a specific amt. of hydroxyl group and a specific amt. of anion exchange group and using a porous rigid polymer having a specific surface area as a stationary phase of a sepn. column. CONSTITUTION:For example, vinyl aceetate and triallyl isocyanurate are copolymerized. The resultant copolymer is saponified and a hydroxyl group is incorporated thereto. The hydroxyl group and epichlorhydrin are brought into reaction, and then amine is brought into reaction. A porous rigid polymer is manufactured in such a way and the hydroxyl group thereof is made to 1.0-10.0meq/ g, the anion exchange group (amino group, etc.) 0.1-5.0meq/g and the specific surface area 5-1,000m2/g. Such rigid copolymer is used as the stationary phase of a chromatographic sepn. column to separate lactate dehydrogenase isozyme. Since such rigid copolymer is used as the stationary phase, five kinds of isozymes are analyzed with high accuracy and the copolymer is free from a decrease in separating power by the effect of a reagent.
