PURPOSE:To stabilize action by setting time interval from completion of applying the first current pulse to application of the second pulse less than the length of elongation/ saturation magnetic wall speed and conforming phase of application of the second current pulse with phase that makes rotating magnetic field in the face becomes parallel to a hairpinlike pattern. CONSTITUTION:Time (t) required by an elongated magnetic bubble to shrink perfectly is represented by t=L/Vs where Vs is saturation magnetic wall speed and L is length of elongation. Accordingly, if time interval gamma from completion of application of the first current pulse to application of the second current pulse for magnetic bubble erasing is gammat, malfunction of remainder of extinction apt to occur. On the other hand, if gammat, elongated magnetic bubble is on the way of shrinking, and exists at a part of a hairpinlike conductor 2 where erasing magnetic field is strongest, and erased easily. Further, in the case where rotating magnetic field in the face HA is applied nearly parallel to ''Permalloy'' hairpin pattern 3, the state of magnetizing becomes symmetric to the magnetic bubble 41 and presence in the gap of the hairpin pattern 3 becomes surer, and excellent erasing characteristics is displayed.
