PURPOSE:To prevent the fusion loss of a current collector body and the peripheral structure due to the scattering of an arm when passing a branch crossover track by interrupting a regenerative brake circuit when a current is concentrated to one current collector of the third rail current collectors provided at the front and back trucks and during the regenerative braking operation. CONSTITUTION:When a current is concentrated to one of the third rail current collectors 5A (FSC), 5B (RSC) of front and back trucks 14A, 14B, one operating force of differential coils 18A, 18B is operated so that a contact 20A makes contact with contacts 22A or 22B. On the other hand, when a brake command is outputted from a brake instruction unit BC, contacts 20C, 22B are closed. When the fact that the regenerative brake is detected by a distributor 17C by a shunt, the contacts 20B, 23A are closed. When these conditions are satisfied, a current flows to a high speed breaker trip command coil 19, thereby interrupting the regenerative brake circuit.
