PURPOSE:To attain a high-speed operation with high accuracy for the titled controller by counting the number of revolutions of each shaft by an encoder connected to a pen head driving motor to hold the count value and setting this value to zero through a control part according to a reset signal. CONSTITUTION:When a control signal showing the shift state of a pen head is applied to a pulse distributing circuit PDV, the number of pulses corresponding to the shift distance of X and Y axis directions are transmitted and counted up by counters CUT1 and CUT2. Then this count value is supplied to motors MX and MY after D/A conversion. Then both motors are driven. In a reset mode counters CUT3 and CUT4 are counted down by the adverse revolutions of both motors. Then the pen head is reset to its original point so as to set the count value to zero.
