PRODUCTION OF NON-STICKY FLEXIBLE VINYL CHLORIDE RESIN FILM

PURPOSE:The titled film which does not lose its surface smoothness and whose appearance and transparency do not degrade after repeated use, by forming a film from a vinyl chloride resin composition containing a plasticizer and dispersing a partially saponified PVA powder on the surface of the film. CONSTITUTION:A film is formed from a resin composition containing 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin and 30-100pts.wt. plasticizer. Prior to winding into a roll, a powder of a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) of a degree of saponification of 40-70% and average particle diameter of 3-20mu is dispersed on one or both of the surfaces of the film. By ''vinyl chloride resin'' are meant polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chloride-based copolymers. When the above partially saponified PVA powder is used after it is surface-treated with a silicone oil or a fluorine-containing compound, the change of the powder with time is small, which is desirable.
