Compounds of the formulawherein R and R, are independently selected from phenyl, benzyl, naphtyl, biphenylyl; or phenyl, benzyl, biphenylyl or naphthyl groups substituted with from 1 to 3 groups selected from nitro, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, trifluoromethyl or halo, R₂ is an aralower alkyl or substituted aralower alkyl group, n is an integer of 0 or 1 and HX is a strong acid, are useful as post-emergent herbicides.
