A dipped headlamp comprising a parabolic reflector defining an optical axis A-A and a focus F, a light source L placed on the optical axis slightly in front of the said focus, and cut-off means C to intercept a proportion of the rays emitted by the source travelling towards the reflector, in order to define a cut-off limit on the beam reflected by the reflector.
