Abstract of the Disclosure3-Phenoxy-.alpha.-phenoxy-alkanoic-acid derivatives ofthe formulaare disclosed as possessing a surprising selectiveherbicidal activity. Methods are disclosed for combattingweeds in mono- and dicotyledoneous cultures such ascereals, corn, rice, soja and cotton, which compriseapplying to the locus to be protected from weeds adosage of from 0,1 to 10,0 kilograms per hectare ofthe above compounds.
