Method for the production of food fibres for the improvement of the digestion-promoting properties of foodstuffs and fine foods, characterised thereby, that seed shells of cocoa beans are subjected to a wet cleaning with subsequent rinsing with water and drying, comminuted and ground to a powder and added to the foodstuffs and fine foods.
