Device for the classification and archiving files, particularly hospitalized patients, comprising a protective cover (1) closed on three sides (1-1, 1-2, 1-3) being provided with a of the sides (1-5) of the front face of the cover with boxes (4) receiving coding labels (5) of different colors for archiving, the sheath further containing sachets (1-2-3) on its front side references that serve to identify the documents it contains. 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the cover has bellows (1-4) and two lower corners (6) are truncated. 3.
