Method for preparing a catalyst suitable for polymerization or copolymerization of Olefins with mono - 1 - 2 to 8 Carbon Atoms.Consists of: a) forming a hydrogel as co - silica gel gelled - Chrome co; or a hydrogel in the form of Tergel, silica, Titanium dioxide, Chromium,From a Coordination Compound of Chromium Chromium has a group containing nitrogen; (b) hydrogel with age between 18 to 93jc for an hour with the condition that if the Chrome of the hydrogel in the form of a co gel is not derived from a compound having a group of Coordination of Chromium PO containing Nitrogen, pH of the hydrogel in the form of a co GelDuring part of the period of Ageing is maintained at a value between 7 and 9 by the addition of a basic material; and (c) to treat the hydrogel with a Volatile Organic Compound liquid for removing Water and transform the hydrogel in a xerogel.
