A sealing method for the subsequent water or new insulation particularly of building walls, and insertion element for carrying out this method. When manufacturing a new insulation, the insulating layer to be laid on the surface to be insulated comprises prefabricated insertion elements, carriers and shaped network as well as an insulating material, and curing introduced in the openings of the insertion elements (4).
