In the process, - the spleen is extracted with a polar solvent, - the resulting extract is isolated from the polar solvent, - the isolated extract is subjected to chromatography with an eluent or to electrophoresis, and - those fractions which on chromatographic treatment on an Analtech silica gel G.F.plate have an Rf below 0.73 are isolated.
