A clasp for jewellery chains formed from a sleeve (1) and a coupling element (2) slidable in this sleeve (1) between an open position and a closed position, characterized in that the coupling element (2) comprises, on the one hand, a coupling head (7) formed from a first and second jaws (5a, 5b) and, on the other hand, at least one spring blade (4a) which is joined to the first jaw (5a) and tends to move it away from the second one (5b) for opening the coupling head (7), this sleeve (1) allowing or opposing such opening depending on the position of the coupling element (2) with respect to the sleeve (1).
