The G. Winter trouser trapeze harness covers almost the entire torso, the harness being fitted to the body like trousers with the aid of the stepped lacing. As a result the active force is optimally distributed over a large surface area and the spine is particularly well supported in the lumbar region. With full padding, the trapeze harness can also serve as a life jacket. This trapeze harness and the special hook permit an easy rapid release and reduce the number of buckles and straps. However, the use of conventional hooks is possible.
