The clip (1) is used with a bolt (2) and a winged clamp plate (3) to secure an expanded metal mesh panel (4) to a 'T' section rail (5). It comprises an undulating metal plate with a threaded bolt hole (6). The parent plate is approximately rectangular, having 45 deg. (1d) and right angled (1g) returns at the inboard and outboard ends respectively. The returns project in the same general direction and offset the plate body from the mesh. the intermediate zone inc. primary (1b) and secondary (1a) trapezoidal undulation, the primary projecting in the same direction as the returns (1e, 1g) and incorporating the threaded bolt hole in the trough (1c).
