Article of clothing, partic. a protective glove, is produced on a mould (1) which is coated with an inner lightweight lining (2). Liq. distributers (4) are positioned vertically above the mould (1). During the mfg. operation, the mould (1) is moved at right angles to its pivot axis on a horizontal axis from a position in which the fingers point upwards to one in which they point downwards. A trough (10), pump (11) and connecting pipe to the distributor head (4) are contained in the machine. The flow of coating material through its opening (4a) is regulated by a valve (5) and which is adjusted by a knob (6).
