PURPOSE:To provide the titled health food having nutritious and tonic effects, physiological digestion-promoting effect, and texturizing property, by mixing adlay which is polished and converted to alpha-starch, with polished barley, refined corn and a seasoning, and expanding the mixture in a porous form. CONSTITUTION:Polished adlay with embryo bud is washed with water, heated, and conditioned to raise the alpha-starch content by 10-20%. The obtained adlay with embryo bud is mixed with polished barley, refined corn, and seasonings such as sugar, salt, soy sauce, shrimp, curry, etc. at proper ratios. The mixture is charged into a puff machine, and expanded and formed in the form of granules or rods.
