HAND APPARATUS FOR SHARPENING THE EDGES OF SKIS

The apparatus is comprised of two pairs of separate surfaces (5, 13 and 6, 14), of which one surface of each pair (5, 6) is used for guiding purposes and the other one (13, 14), formed by a tool (3) is intended to the sharpening. The second guiding surface (6) is several times larger than the first guiding surface (5) and than the second sharpening surface (14). The width of the first sharpening surface (13) is preferably adjustable. It determines a band extending on a constant distance from the first guiding surface (5) by means of an adjustable support part (8). The total width corresponds approximately to that of the second guiding surface (6). The support is L-shaped in its cross-section. The tool (3) which has cutting edges on both its faces, is secured to the second wing of the support and forms the two sharpening surfaces (13, 14). The securing of the tool is provided only by a medial clamping, thereby enabling a longitudinal flexion on both sides.
