Wet maize, dry protein contg. feed, and dry concentrate contg. minerals and vitamins are stored separately. Components of the feed are transported to the point of use and mixed in the correct proportions just before feeding to the animals. - A transport vehicle is proposed with two or pref. three containers, a mechanically driven feed unit and similarly driven extractor units are provided with a proportioning unit enabling variation of the feed component ratios.
