Calibration appts. for electro-thermal temp. sensors - uses aluminium block heated by high and electrical elements for trimming

A resistive thermometer inserted into the block is used to provide temp. feedback to an electronic control circuit. The control circuit has a 10-turn potentiometer which the user adjusts to select the temp. of the block. A calibrated mercury thermometer is inserted into the upper face close to the apertures for the sensors-under-test. The block is surrounded by a glass fibre jacket and supported by glass insulators within a two-piece aluminium cover. The sensors to be calibrated are inserted through a gap in the upper cover.
