A B S T R A C TAN ARTICULATED PIPE DISCHARGE RAMP ANDA METHOD FOR LAYING A PIPELINEAn articulated pipe discharge ramp attachable to a pipelayingvessel for guiding a pipeline being laid comprises a plurality ofelongated interconnected members arranged in end-to-endrelationship, and joints interconnecting each pair of said segmentsto permit said segments to flex in any direction within apreselected angle. Each joint comprises two sockets, each inadjacent ends of the pair of segments, and two interconnectedsocket-filling members. (Fig. 3)
