Hose for manufacturing hose pieces of predetermined length with coupling ends, having a hose wall made of thermoplastic or elastomeric material in which a reinforcing helix is arranged and which comprises sectors of varied wall thickness, the spacings of which are equal to the predetermined length, regions of relatively small wall thickness being situated between the coupling ends intended for the mounting of coupling fittings, characterized in that, with the hose comprising an outer hose extruded in one piece, an inner hose extruded in one piece, and the reinforcing helix arranged between these, especially for manufacture of shower, or spray hoses, the inner hose (14) and/or outer hose (1) have/has sectors (15, 16, 19, 20 and, respectively, 9-12) so fashioned that along a sector the wall thickness starts from the smallest thickness equal to the wall thickness between the sectors and at first increases continuously to its greatest thickness (part-sector 15 or 9 respectively) and then decreases again continuously to the smallest thickness (part-sector 20 in Fig. 2 or 11 in Fig. 1).
