PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR DRY DISTILLATION OF DISCARDED RUBBER TIRES

摘要

Used tires are charged into a vertical dry distillation furnace in which the tires in the lower part are combusted to give off hot gases which rise to dry distill the tires in the upper part to produce distillation gases that can be used as a fuel. Burners are used to start combustion which is then self-sustained by supplying air only. The lower end of the furnace is immersed in water. Used tires can be used to supply energy.
