A fitting for a rotary type swing window has an opening device above the window pane and a closing device attached to the lower edge of the window frame directed towards the window aperture with a bolt to secure the window in its closed position. The arms (69, 70) are attached to the bolt forming the rotary bearing pocket (35) for the closing device on the window frame side and the drive system has positions which permit only an unlocked status allowing rotary or swing type opening of the window frame.
