Quick-acting manipulating valve with drive element and controllable stop device

The invention relates to a novel quick-acting manipulating valve which is equipped with an oscillator drive and a controllable stop device. A special feature of the valve conception presented is that the task of designing a quick-operating valve is reduced to the tasks of designing a rapidly oscillating drive element and a rapidly reacting, controllable stop device. On the basis of the conception presented, it is possible to reduce the operating times of the valves or to also improve the flow rates. In the process, virtually identical on and off operating times can be achieved. The control signals, irrespective of type, act only on the controllable stop device. This action counteracts the blocking of the movement of the drive element and the operating cycle is thereby initiated. Since the controllable stop device needs distinctly less energy and power for its actuation than is necessary for carrying out the operating cycle in the valve, the dependency between the operating pressure and the control pressure can thereby be reduced in pneumatically controlled valves. In the same way, the demands imposed on the electromechanical valve components in electrically controlled valves can also be clearly reduced.
