The ramjet engine consist of a gas generator (G), a combustion chamber (B) and ignition and control devices. A regulating valve (11), a variable valve opening (12), ignition devices (13,14) and safety devices (15,16) are arranged in a valve chamber (V) between the gas generator and the combustion chamber are tested and controlled/regulated by elements placed in a drive chamber (A) at the cold end of the gas generator chamber.
