JIGSAW PUZZLE TYPE DIGITAL PICTURE TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE:To attain the security of confidentiality when a picture is transmitted through a public communication line by reading a data from a frame memory at random. CONSTITUTION:A picture is digitized and stored in a frame memory and the reading sequence of the data from the frame memory is executed at random. The random code is informed in advance to the reception side, the reception side writes the data in the frame memory in the order of random code to reproduce the picture. Even when the 3rd party not knowing the random code receives the picture data, the picture is received as if pieces of a jigsaw puzzle were received at random and the data is not reconstituted as the picture.
