PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary operation from being performed by providing a switch which is operated by the deformation of a platen part positioned between an exposure light source and an exposed part and allowing copying operation only when a force larger than specific pressure is applied. CONSTITUTION:A top plate 10 as an external pressure part, and the platen part 6 composed of a flexible platen plate made of plastic and a buffer member 62 made of a light transmissive air bag or sponge are provided. When pressure is applied to the top plate 10 from above, this force is transmitted to the platen plate 61 through side plates 11 and 12 and further transmitted to an exposed surface through the buffer member 61. When the pressure is increased, the platen plate which is supported at the end part as a fulcrum begins to flex upward convexly, and the quantity of variation is transmitted to the upper part through an arm 16, whose position shift is transmitted to the switch 18 through an elastic actuator 17.
