PURPOSE:To securely release a paper and prevent the paper from being wound up, by connecting a suction port and an air suction device on the downstream side of a press roller with respect to the rotating direction of a plate cylinder, and generating an air flow in the direction for positively releasing the paper from the plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The vicinity of a press roller 6 is surrounded by a casing body 16 opened on the plate cylinder side to form a suction port 15, and an air suction device 18 comprising a suction fan 17 is connected to the body 16. A paper 20 pressed against the peripheral surface of a plate cylinder 1 and having an ink image transferred thereto is attracted by suction to the press roller 6 side by the air suction device 18, is released from the plate cylinder 1, and is discharged while being guided to the casing body 16 side. Even in the case of a paper having a high degree of adhesion top the plate cylinder, the leading end of the paper 20 is attracted by suction to the side of the suction port 15, whereby a gap is formed between the plate cylinder 1 and the leading end of the paper, so that the paper is then securely released from the cylinder 1 by a separating pawl 7, and is discharged.
