MACHINE FOR TAKING OUT NUT OF JAPANESE CHESTNUT

PURPOSE:In taking out nuts of Japanese chestnuts by using a pair of rotary rollers having a great number of small holes on the faces of the rollers, to contrive to improve operation efficiency, by making a constitution wherein Japanese chestnuts in a feed container are forcedly sent to between rollers by a pushing tool. CONSTITUTION:A feed container 11 to receive Japanese chestnuts which are steamed and cut into halves together with pericarp, a pair of rotary rollers 12 equipped with a great number of small holes 20 on faces 19 of the rollers and a feeder 13 to send the Japanese chestnuts in the container 11 to between the rollers 12 are set. Then, a pressing tool 17 of the feeder 13 is repeatedly made to go in and out of the container 11 and the cut Japanese chestnuts in the container 11 are forcedly sent to between a pair of the rotary rollers 12. Then, the Japanese chestnuts are peeled by frictional pressure of the rollers 12, the pulp is ground, only nut of the Japanese chestnut is taken through the small holes 20 in the rollers 12, sent to a conduit 32 and recovered. On the other hand, the peeled pericarp and astringent coat are dropped downwards by the rollers 12 and recovered by a container 42.
