PURPOSE:To improve thermal efficiency, by forming a unitary body of a rubidium lamp, a lamp heater and a lamp exciting coil in a lamp housing having a structure, whose outer surface has threaded grooves. CONSTITUTION:A rubidium lamp 12 is fixed in a lamp exciting coil bobbin comprising an insulating material such as ceramics. The bobbin 121 is fixed in a lamp housing 122, in which lamp heating transistor 15 is embedded. Thread grooves 123 are formed on the outer surface of the lamp housing 122. An exciting coil 124 is connected to a lamp exciter 11. Meanwhile, thread groves 142, which are screwed into the thread grooves 123, are formed on a housing 141 in a lamp fixing part 14 of the main body of an optical resonator 10. The lamp housing 122 is attached to the lamp fixing part 14 by screwing. Thus the lamp can be efficiently heated, and the compact size can be implemented.
