The combined use of the two selectively herbicidal active substances S-(2-chlorobenzyl)-N,N-diethylthiocarbamate and N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-N-(1-pyrazolylmethyl)-chloroacetamide results in surprising synergistic effects; a combination preparation containing the two substances is suitable in particular for controlling weeds in potato crops.
