Self-extinguishing, cured epoxy plastics, which are the product of the reaction between a brominated epoxy resin, a non-brominated epoxy resin, a diglycidylaniline resin and, as curing agent, hexahydrophthalic anhydride. Also disclosed is an epoxy resin composition which contains said components, and the use of the resin composition and plastics for electrical purposes, in particular for electrical capacitors.
