ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSUREFilms comprising alpha-olefin polymers, such as polypro-pylene consisting essentially of recurring propylene units andhaving a substantial crystalline polypropylene content, and inparticular isotactic polypropylene, are rendered low adhesive tothe welding bars of automatic and semi-automatic machines conven-tionally used for the manufacture of containers, evelops, bags,vessels and, in general, other manufactured articles useful inthe packaging industry, by coating the films by a mixture of acopolymer of a vinyl ester with an unsaturated acid, a terpolymerof an alkyl acrylate, an alkyl-methacrylate and an unsaturatedacid and a cross-linking amine.
