ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURETo control the amount and the loss of pressure inseveral pneumatic conveyance paths in parallel, a pressuremeasurement point is determined, situated at a positionsuch that the loss of pressure .DELTA. P between that point and thepoint of injection of the pulverulent material into thevessel will be the same for all the pipes and for the samecharge of material in the pneumatic current, it is determinedby theoretical and experimental methods what must be thevalues of these losses of pressure between these 2 points fora determined amount of pulverulent material, and fordifferent pressures inside the vessel, these values arememorised in the form of calibration curves, during theinjection the losses of pressure between the previouslydetermined points are continuously monitored for each of thepipes and the rhythm of the metering means is controlled insuch a way that when fluctuations of pressure occur in thevessel the variations of losses of pressure caused by the saidfluctuations between the predetermined points are compenstatedby an increase or decrease in the quantity of materialsintroduced by the metering means.
