Liquid CO2, stored at -20 degrees C, 20 bars, is transferred by simple gravity into an intermediate container 3 to fill it completely. It is then heated to room temperature, brought into equilibrium with gaseous CO2 at the corresponding equilibrium pressure, sub-cooled by a pump 5 and sent to the suction of the high pressure pump 6. BR/ Application to the supply of liquid CO2 under a pressure of the order of 80 to 130 bars. BR/ (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) BR/ BR/
