PURPOSE:To prepare a seasoning composition having Western taste and flavor and suitable for the quick home cookng of a Western food having rich taste and flavor of spices, by mixing table salt, powdered soy, sodium glutamate, powdered extract and powdery spices at specific weight ratios. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains 25-70wt% table salt, 5-30% powdered soy, 5-20% sodium glutamate, 2-10% solid fat, 1-10% powdered extract such as powdered meat extract, powdered vegetable extract, yeast extract, etc., and powdery spices such as pepper, garlic, onion, ginger, parsley, paprika, etc. The whole components are mixed together and formed to powder, granule, etc. Preferably, the components other than the spices and the solid fat are mixed together, granulated, coated with the solid fat, and mixed with dried spices. A food such as meat, etc. is smeared with 1.5% composition and cooked.
