Process for the transformation of material genetico vegetable, protoplastos, products and progeny plants

The method makes use of simple, purely chemical procedures and entails the genetic material being transferred into the plant cell directly without using a natural system which is infectious for plants, such as a plant bacterium or plant virus, and without transfer by insects or phytopathogenic fungi, but by incubating together the DNA to be transformed and the plant protoplasts in a suitable incubation medium. It is possible in this way to transfer genes very straightforwardly and efficiently into plant material, resulting in plants with improved properties. IMAGE
