PROTECTIVE TRUCK LINER RETAINERAbstract of the InventionA protective retainer for fastening and retaining theside wall of a protective liner in a pickup truck cargobed is disclosed which is particularly constructed tomaintain the engaged liner side wall in substantial lon-gitudinal alignment despite varying environmental condi-tions. The protective retainer has a fastening platewhich extends longitudinally to substantially cover theside surface of the side rail of a truck cargo bed. Aretainer section depends downwardly from the fasteningplate. The retainer section includes inner and outerdownwardly depending walls which closely engage and retainthe side wall of a truck bed liner. The retainer sectionwalls permit vertical and longitudinal movement of theliner side wall within the retainer section, but substan-tially prevent transverse displacement of the engaged por-tion of the liner side wall.
