The invention relates to an arrangement for extracting stone dust at splitting, drilling and bush-hammering machines and the like by means of an extraction unit which draws in the stone dust accumulating in the working area of the working tool and feeds it to a filter device for separating it from the intake air flow. According to the invention, the drawn-off suspended matter can be supplied for practical application owing to the fact that the intake air flow of the extraction unit draws in at least the microdust and the fine dust, that separation into microdust and fine dust can be carried out by means of a first filter device from the intake air flow thus laden, that the fine dust can be fed to a comminuting device, while the microdust can be collected in a second filter device, and that the comminuted product from the comminuting device can be fed again to the intake air flow upstream of the first filter device.
