Irrigation stake for trees and bushes (shrubbery)

The invention relates to an irrigation stake which can be introduced into the ground in the root region of trees or bushes. Said stake comprises a tube 1 which passes into a tip 2 at its lower end. Bores 4 and/or slots 5 are provided in the casing of the tube, which is filled in a compact manner with a substance 3 of high capillarity, preferably rock wool or glass wool. In order to introduce irrigation stakes into the ground, bores, which pass to the groundwater region, are driven into the ground by means of a compressed-air lance. The irrigation stakes are plugged into said bores. Via the bores 4 and/or slots 5, groundwater is absorbed by the rock wool or glass wool and passes, in the root region, into dry soil, which is consequently kept moist. IMAGE
