The invention relates to a fertilising device for trees and bushes, which is introduced in the soil in the hair-root region of plants. According to Figure 1 represented in the drawing, said fertilising device comprises a stake 1 which may be of square or circular cross-section and is produced, by pressing, using a highly absorbent material, such as blotting paper, quilting cotton, simple papier-mâché or rock wool. By adding a little adhesive, the material used becomes dry and stiff during pressing, under the action of heat. In accordance with Figure 2, the fertilising device may also be produced as a plate 2.
