The present invention relates to a support whose receivers which open towards the top allow the said containers to be inserted and fastened, said containers being inserted by their head or an end section into the receiving openings. The support is formed from at least two spaced-apart solid cardboard carton panels. The receivers opening out in the upper carton panel are arranged there in even or irregular rows and lines, offset in their spacing relative to one another. By means of bent side walls or folds or by means of an additional lateral third carton blank, the individual carton panels are connected with spacing from one another, forming the support. To provide a support which is extremely low in its constructional height and guarantees sufficient clamping of the individual containers in its receivers, sides or imprints of the containers not being damaged or punched in by sharp edges of the opening cutouts of the support, the receiving openings which are offset relative to one another are punched in with centre-points arranged vertically one above the other both in the upper carton panel and in the carton panel spaced away downwards nearest to the latter, the opening edges as... tapering conically towards the inside of the support carton... by "heat-forming" ...
