The connector between the ''raised'' slab-floor (8) and the prefabricated pillar (2) for structures of buildings makes said structures resistant and ductile to seismic stress. The pillar (1) receives, during fabrication, a tubular metal lining (2) made of thick striated sheet metal which surrounds it in the ''critical area'' above and under the slab-floor (8). Said lining (2) acts also as connector, by weldings, with the raised floor. It participates in the resistance of the pillar as composite flexure trussing, vertical and horizontal shearing, torsion and reinforcement. By its reinforcement function, it improves the resistance to the composite flexion of the pillar and its ductility, therefore the seismic security. The connector thus completed with said reinforcing metal lining (2) enables to use structures with raised slub-floors (8), in seismic regions, as autostable structures with all the architectural, technical and economical advantages of this construction method.
