PURPOSE: To obtain the subject yarn having highly dispersed thick parts and thin parts, excellent handle and bulkiness of fabric by heating and drawing plural yarns different in double refractive index and specifying the degree of difference of sectional area of monofilament, fineness unevenness of yarn, shrinkage percentage in boiling water, etc., of yarn. CONSTITUTION: Two or more kinds of undrawn yarns of polyester combined filament yarns different in double refractive index are simultaneously heated and drawn at a draw ratio of preferably 0.40-0.60 the maximum draw ratio, for example, at a temperature of the equation (Tc-30 deg.C) to Tc (Tc is crystallization temperature of the undrawn yarn) to give the objective yarn having the maximum sectional area of monofilament of 1.3-2.8 times the minimum sectional area, fineness unevenness in the longer direction of the yarn, 0.7-2.5% U% and 11-30% shrinkage percentage in boiling water.
